 What is a BCG matrix? It is a graph that uses market growth and market share in order to categorize different items. There are four different categories The Dog This is that has low market share but low relative growth This will bring short term cash but will not grow.  The Cow This has low market growth but high market share This is a product that many people use, but this product will not grow.  The Question Mark This has high market growth but low market share This is a product with a lot of potential The Star This has high market growth and high market share This is a product that everybody has and a product that is sure to grow. 

 What is SWOT? Strengths          These are the things that a business does well. A strength is something a business excels at compared to other competing businesses.  Weakness          These are the things that a business does poorly. A weakness will put the business at a disadvantage when competing with other businesses.  Opportunities          These are conditions that can lead a company to grow.  Threats          These are conditions that can negatively affect the business.  What are some SWOTs for a company like Apple? Strengths  Good sleek design Smooth operating system Good performance Weaknesses High price Easy to break Hard to repair Opportunities Can lower prices Can partner with repair shops Can make new products Threats Cheaper phones in the market
